EU funding programmes for the post-2020 period, what is on the Horizon?

The next Framework Programme for the 2021-2027 period, Horizon Europe, is gradually taking shape. Apart from Horizon Europe, the European Union offers a variety of funding opportunities to Higher Education Institutions, including Erasmus+, Digital Europe and the structural funds. A strategic plan will ensure the successful implementation of Horizon Europe as well as the alignment with EU, national and regional funding programmes and priorities. In this session, participants will receive up-to-date information on the status of future EU research funding. In addition, we will discuss about opportunities for synergies.  

Learning outcomes

The participants will learn about the renewed European agenda in research and innovation, the Horizon Europe programme and its synergies with other EU funding programmes.
