Een nieuwe (internationale) wind in ons team: welkom, Amandine!

Het Team van Teacher Tapp Vlaanderen wordt tijdelijk uitgebreid. Amandine Jopek doet haar onderzoeksstage binnen ons team en zal ons tot eind december versterken. Ze is studente Master in Educational sciences aan de Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Haar interesses gaan o.a. uit naar onderwijsbeleid, curriculumontwerp en onderwijsonderzoek. Haar hoofdfocus is momenteel evaluatie. De komende weken kunnen er dus meerdere vragen in de app verschijnen rond assessment.

Amandine is afkomstig uit Frankrijk, en stelt zichzelf graag aan jullie voor in het Engels:

I am Amandine, a master’s student in educational sciences at VUB Brussels. I started my education with a dual bachelor’s in social work and educational sciences in France and decided to focus more on the educational side for my master’s and future career in Belgium. As of now, I would like to become a researcher in educational sciences for European (and maybe international) organisations such as the OECD and eventually IIEP.

As an idealistic person, I have big dreams and goals to make societies a better place to live in. My personal and professional objectives are to improve social justice and the social rights of all of Earth’s citizens, and I think that education is one of the most powerful tools we have in our hands to reach that goal.

Indeed, knowledge is our greatest weapon for fighting inequalities. Therefore, by becoming a researcher and an educationalist, my objective is to highlight the inequalities we should focus on to give everybody equal chances at school and in societies at large.
